| Steals
This is where a dark horse who wishes to steal a mare or foal must post a riddle. Anyone can try and guess (only dark horses obviously). They get three guesses. Once all three guesses are used and the name of the chosen has not been said then the stallion gets the mare for a real week. He can do whatever he wants with her.

| The Dry Plains
Drought is welcome here. Not much life has lived after the battle and enemies can see a foe from miles away. No sensible animal would venture here, but sometimes you have to.

| Herald's Kingdom
This is the most royal kingdom amoung the wolves. This is where the first ever messenger to the lights was murdered. The legend lives on amoung the horses that survive that his spirit haunts and torments wolves. However the spirit is yet to show his true colours.

| Dark Wilderness
Where rabbits and hares fear to go. This is one of the wolf lands. Commandeered by a wolf who is in favour of the King, packs of wolves live here. Squabling and fighting. Getting along. Lots of things can happen here.

| Prisoner Camps |
| Battle Valley
Once a lush neutral valley is now plagued with blood and weak horses. This is where the light stallions are taunted to fight. They are the darks personal punch-bag.

| Mares' Corner
This is the place of pleasures for evil stags. This is where they can control the mares and breed to them at any time. Sometimes they bet on light stallions to see how many foals they get to sire.

| Maternity Prison
This where mare's who are kept once bred to. Where the darks wait for young to be born and taken away. After birth the mares stay here for six weeks then they get sent back to Mares' Corner again.

| The Teachings
This is where foals are taught to be darks. If the foals show any sign of lightness, the fillies are sent to the Mares' Corner and colts are killed. Except when the darks' entertainment supply of stags grows short in Battle Valley.

| Dark Kingdoms |
| Forgotten Forest
This is the most royal place of the darks. This is where their King resides and most loyal subjects are present. He decides who gets the most mares and who breeds with who. He is in control of all of the prisoner's fate.

| Plagued Tundra.
Here dark horses live, where yearlings learn the true meaning of being a dark. It is owned by a horse who is in favour of the King.
